My lesson program is aimed at beginners – adults and children alike – on safe, wonderful horses. I teach correct handling, safety, grooming and tacking up as a part of the lesson plan. I’ve been riding and enjoying horses since I was 7 years old, and have been an instructor for the past 5 years. Not long after I became involved as a volunteer in a Hippotherapy Program I obtained my Therapeutic Riding Instructor Certification (2004). I loved seeing the benefits that children reaped from horse riding – both mental and physical. Most of my current students are able bodied riders, but I still have one student with a few challenges. About the Trainer:
When it comes to horses, I’ve done a bit of just about everything including western, timed events, saddle-seat, then focusing on dressage and hunters. I am currently showing Dressage and have competed successfully in local hunter shows.

My students’ range from beginner to more experienced riders wanting fine-tuning. I teach students to be confident riders with a strong independent seat and light feel of the bridle. I always explain how and why a particular command or body position is used so that my students understand the movements and the horse’s response.

I have been riding for more than 15 years and have trained with the following:
